 What are your hours of operation?
We are open Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM.


What ages do you accept?
We welcome children from 6 weeks to 5 years old.

What curriculum do you use?
We follow the Experience Early Learning curriculum, which is aligned with the Maryland Early Learning Standards. Our program is designed to support each child’s growth through hands-on learning, play, and exploration.


Is your program licensed and regulated?
Yes, we are licensed by the Maryland State Department of Education and follow all state health, safety, and early learning guidelines.


Do you provide meals and snacks?
Yes. We serve nutritious, home-cooked meals and snacks daily. Our menu includes breakfast, lunch, and two snacks, all aligned with USDA guidelines.


What is the caregiver to child ratio?

1:8 or 2:8


What does a typical day look like?
Each day includes a balance of free play, circle time, outdoor play, art, music, movement, rest time, and hands-on learning activities that support development. Check out our Daily Schedule section to see what a typical day consists of.


Do you offer outdoor play?
Absolutely. Children go outside daily (weather permitting) to explore, move, and enjoy nature in our safe, fenced-in yard twice daily. If they can't go outside we will set up an indoor playground.


 What is the latest time I can drop off my child?
Drop-off is not allowed after nap time begins unless you have spoken with the owner beforehand. Please contact us to discuss any late arrivals. 


How do you handle naps?
We create a calm environment with soft music or stories to help children rest according to their individual needs. With our infants we will follow the nap schedule put into place my parents. Toddlers have a set nap/rest time.


How do you handle behavior and discipline?
We use positive guidance strategies and focus on helping children express emotions, solve problems, and make kind choices. Our goal is always to support emotional growth in a respectful, caring way.


How do you communicate with parents?
We offer daily updates at pick-up and regularly share photos, activities, and developmental progress through a parent communication app called Brightwheel.


 Do you assist with potty training?
Yes, we support potty training in partnership with families. We follow your child’s individual readiness and routines, offering encouragement and gentle reminders while providing a consistent and positive environment. 


What safety measures are in place?
Safety is our top priority. We maintain a clean and secure environment, follow strict health protocols, and are certified in CPR, Medication Administration Training and first aid. We use cameras in our play areas both indoor and outdoor as well.


How do I enroll or schedule a tour?
You can contact us by phone or email to schedule a tour, ask questions, or start the enrollment process. We offer both virtual and in-person tours to help you get to know our program and space.
